You.

This poem is for you.
You know who you are.
There's no games this time.
I'm not trying to change your heart.

In fact, I'm not trying to change anything.
Or make you see a different light.
I just want you to be you.
And might to be might.

I surrender all advantage I have.
Or all power I may have attained.
Because its not a victory that I'm concerned about.
Just Love - That's all that needs to be gained.

"For I know the plans I have for you"
But, I sure don't know what they are.
I just know that you're great.
And i wish you could see that far.

This poem is for you.
But really, it's for me.
Coz I'm sick and tired of being fake.
And i want the world to see.
You.

Hey Brenton!
Thanks for stopping by my blog and saying hi. I too need to update. I'll keep this short since I am going to answer your questions when I update...but I did want to answer your question about your hammy.

First of all, I'm glad you are back playing basketball and that you haven't had any problems. That's a good sign! Scar tissue forms if an injury is not allowed to heal properly, or in the case of multiple injuries to the same site. With each injury, a person develops some scar tissue, but it is usually minimal. The risk of scar tissue formation increases w/ the severity of injury. So, the more severe the injury, the greater the risk of developing scar tissue. For example, a guy who has minor tear in his biceps will be at less risk than a guy who has a severe rupture of the biceps. Without proper treatment, the guy w/ the severe tear might never regain full function in his arm due to scar tissue formation.

Since you aren't having any problems playing, I would say you are probably safe. However, if you re-injure it again you will be at greater risk. The main defense against scar tissue formation is staying active and allowing injuries to heal when they occur. So, I would make sure that you get on a daily stretching routine, along w/ your regular workouts. Of course, drink plenty of water since your tissues depend on it...especially during exercise. Did I answer your question? If not, let me know! Talk to you later.
